My name is Jessica Fleming and I am a Registered Early Childhood Educator. I am passionate about working with children and believe that I can make a difference in children’s lives through helping them find joy in the little things in life. Our world is made up of so many things that we can learn from and be curious about. My philosophy is that we are always learning and growing, together. Each day holds many opportunities to discover more. One of my greatest passions is being an assistant coach for the Guelph Gators U14 Novice Team and Vice President of the Guelph Minor Softball Association. My approach to learning is highly “team focused." In my classroom, we sing often and many of the songs we sing are derived from cheers that I have learned through coaching. I believe that learning is reciprocal between adults and children; it is a process of learning together and I believe both parties have ideas and theories to contribute. I also have an abundance of life experience that supports my practice. I am a mother of three children, ages 14, 12 and 9. I married my best friend and teammate, Doug, in 2005. I am excited to be working in the field of Early Learning and eager to build relationships with children and their families.
