Hi! My name is Tasha and I am a Registered Early Childhood Educator here at First Steps Early Learning Center. I started off as a camp counselor back in high school and have had a passion for working with children ever since.

My favourite part about this field is that as an ECE you are not the only teacher in the room, I continuously learn from the children themselves as well. We learn from each other and do wonderful things together! I have a daughter of my own, and we enjoy doing many things together. Some of these things include swimming, playing board games and partaking in many art experiences!

I enjoy bringing in a variety of experiences into the classroom as well whether they be art, or sensory play! All depending on the interests of the children, I take their lead! If you see me around First Steps, don’t hesitate to say hello!
